What an Incredible Weekend at the Watermelon Festival!
This past weekend, June 6th and 7th, the BootScoot Bosses had the honor of bringing line dancing, energy, fun, and community to the Watermelon Festival at Hansen Dam in Los Angeles — and what an unforgettable two days it was!
We are beyond grateful for the incredible support, heart, and teamwork shown by the BootScoot Bosses crew. From helping run the line dance tent, keeping the energy high, assisting guests, supporting lessons, performances, contests, and helping everything run smoothly — our team truly showed up in the best way possible.
A huge shoutout to our amazing BootScoot Bosses Boutique, which absolutely went OFF this weekend! Seeing everyone excited about our merchandise, stopping by the booth, supporting the brand, and representing the Bosses community meant so much to us. The love was unreal!
Most importantly, thank you to every single Boss who gave their time, energy, smiles, and heart to help make this event so special. It takes a village to create the kind of fun, welcoming, high-energy experience we strive for, and this weekend reminded us exactly why the BootScoot Bosses community is so special.
We laughed, danced, sweated, taught, performed, supported one another, and made memories we’ll never forget.

My heart is full, coming to work with Viva. I had the privilege of dancing with children and teachers alike💃. At one point having six little hands in each of mine being such a lover of souls totally filled me with immeasurable joy🙏 My cup runneth over! The work being done here is truly amazing, and I’m so grateful to be a part of it. It was a deep longing after not being back in 20 years.
